Newspapers in four of the eight city districts of the Estonian capital in 2021 will be published by Krabu Grupp.  Based on the results of tenders, the company has concluded contracts with the administrations of Lasnamäe, Põhja-Tallinn, Kristiine and Haabersti city districts. The total audience of all newspapers will reach about 250 thousand people.

Neighbourhood newspapers in Tallinn city districts are, as a rule, monthly publications that cover the everyday life in the districts, events taking place there, current information on changes and innovations and other information relevant to local residents. The city district administrations hold tenders for the publication of their printed periodicals every year. Krabu Grupp‘s quotes were the best in four of the eight boroughs, and the company will now be responsible for translating and editing the texts, doing the layout, placing ads and printing the local newspapers. The content is provided by the city district administrations.

“Our cooperation with the city district authorities began three years ago when we won a tender to publish the Lasnamäe Gazette. We are happy to contribute to the creation of a unified information environment for the residents of the capital. In today’s difficult situation, information is of particular importance – and we try to offer the best opportunities for its publication and perception,” said Kirill Krabu, member of the Board of Krabu Grupp.

Since Krabu Grupp specializes in creating information systems of varying complexity, we have also created a convenient information portal for the Lasnamäe Gazette that allows publishing important information more often than the newspaper’s release deadlines allow. We have also created even more integrated similar solutions for Saaremaa and Pärnu.

Tallinn city district newspapers are distributed free of charge and also published online. The latest issues can be found here:
